Venter Plumbers was requested by a painting company to evaluate a leak that originates in the bathroom. They could not find the cause of the walls being so wet. Our team of trained technicians found the walls to be above 35% wet. Normal is below 15%. They used an infra-red camera to evaluate the water supply in the bathroom. They found a burst pipe just behind the bath mixer. Water was flowing in from the burst pipe behind the tiles to the area below the bath.
The plumbing team went out and was able to remove the tiles, repair the pipe and tile the wall.
This is very good example of the power that goes with finding leaks. The bathroom tiles were installed 38 years ago, and the owners did not have any spare.
